So I am 12 year olds, I have been learning basic gymnastics (handstands, cartwheels, bridges) at school. I can complete simple vault routines, but that's about it, soon I am joining my towns teams for training sessions, I really enjoy gymnastics as a sport and would like to be good at it, any tips for simple moves to start on, better posture, tips in general, oh and I need a diet plan, I am not fat..but I'm quite chubby, I'm really tall for my age (5"6.2) Will this effect it? Please help/advise I will REALLY very much appreciate it.
Answer on Tips for new gymnasts?
Hi I'm glad to hear that you will be joining your local gymnastic team. This will be fun and exciting for you. Just remember don't expect too much too soon. It takes time to develop muscles and flexibility. It sounds like you already have alot or they wouldn't have selected you. Anyway, don't be too hard and yourself and don't compare yourself to other girls that might get a skill before you do. Listen to the coach and try to ask questions and keep on attempting the skill. It takes repitition and determination in gymnastics to master new skills. Keep your straddle stretches and backbends going to be limber and work on holding your handstands more and more each day. Also work on pullovers on the bars and chin ups to gain arm muscles. Just eat what you normally eat and just try to cut out the junk food. Eat an apple or peach for energy and keep a smile on your face, especially when performing your routines. The judges will like that! Also try to incorporate grace such as tight arms and flowing hands. Also remain tight on all gymnastics routines. Good Luck and Hope you get that skill or score that you are looking for!!

What is Euro's verses US dollars? How do you compare?
I am thinking of going to Italy for my first time and when I check prices it says Euro's...I do not understand the difference, can someone help?
Answer on What is Euro's verses US dollars? How do you compare?
Well, today's rate is 1 € = 1,30 US dollars or if you prefer 1 US dollar = € 0,77.- However this is the official rate, for business transactions. Unfortunately tourists that want to buy Euros and paying US$ cash are quoted a different rate by the money exchangers - I was last week at the Florence's Airport and I've noted the following rates :
You buy 1 € they charge you 1,42 US$
You sell 1 € they give you back 1,18 US$
As you can see the rate is fairly worse...!!
The best (and the safer) would be you pay the most is possible with yr credit card and take advantage of the better rate offered by yr credit card's company - Same as I've verified with my creditcard (I've VISA issued in Italy by BankAmericard) they should debit you the official rate of exchange, increased with a small % commission.
Apply them for better information prior leaving to Italy.
I guess you'll find at the end a big difference and also you'll not have the problem of carrying with you too much cash (that could be also pic pocketed...!!).
